AVN Online, the trade journal for the future of the adult digital media, has been announced as the Premier Media Sponsor for the June 8-9 Sex in Video Games Conference at the Lodge at Union Square in San Francisco, California.
The Sex in Video Games Conference is the first of its kind, bringing together video game developers and the adult industry. It features two days of panel discussions, keynotes from Wired Sex Drive columnist Regina Lynn and game designer Sheri Graner Ray, a machinima art show, and lectures that focus on the Adult Only game genre. The technological challenges of design, the future of technology, as well as the ways to approach various audiences will all be discussed at the conference. This conference will be at the apex of both the video game and the adult entertainment industries.
According to Cynthia Freese, CEO of Evergreen Events, "Developers incorporating sexual content into games face a multitude of hurdles, from legal and distribution barriers to incorporating an understanding of human sexuality into game design. We face these issues head-on with this conference, and are thrilled to have AVN Online as our Premier Media Sponsor. The topics discussed at this conference will be invaluable to the readership of AVN Online."
"Bringing video games and the adult world together is a natural progression. Adult entertainment is becoming mainstream and other industries are recognizing its potential," says AVN Online senior editor MJ McMahon. "We're glad to help facilitate this merging of industries and to be a part of this new and exciting event."
